The Chamber Music Connection, Inc. invites adult amateur musicians to
join together for an open house of chamber music playing and fun. This
informal event will feature ensemble reading for all levels of ability, from
the earliest levels of proficiency to the most advanced, as well as an
opportunity to meet and talk with other adult participants. Adult
musicians will also have the opportunity to learn more about The
Chamber Music Connection’s adult chamber music program.
This non-audition evening event is open to
all adult string, wind, and piano players. While literature for
reading will come primarily from string chamber music, works that are
a collaboration of strings, winds, and piano may also be included.
Ensembles will be formed based on available instrumentation and
players’ levels of ability.
Each ensemble will have a coach who will
provide guidance and direction to enhance the experience. CMC will
provide the music.
Participants may choose to attend one or both open house sessions.
