The special package includes a 3-speed KMG-PL belt grinder with 1.5 horsepower motor running on 110 volts AC, tool arm, KMG work rest, rigid subplate, switch kit with power cord, an assortment of abrasive belts, and flat platen attachment. The flat platen has a removable plate which allows it to be easily converted to slack belt operation and back again as desired. In addition, the flat platen attachment is configured with one lower 2×2 aluminum idler wheel and one upper 2×2 contact wheel. This enables smooth, controlled grinding action applied directly on the abrasive at the upper contact wheel. Beaumont’s Articulating Work Rest System is also included to provide tremendous flexibility in adjusting the work table for almost any grinding operation.
